Well February's over, and here’s my status report through the end of the month:
· 773 miles on the bike since I started on December 11 – 253 miles ahead of schedule (not bad)!
· Currently riding 15-30 miles per ride, four times a week, ranging from 18-23 mph.
· Working out with heart rate in the 140-150 bpm range.
· Resting heart rate was 49 beats per minute last time I checked.
· Weight is 202 pounds (up a bit due to some pre-birthday celebrations). I want to get to 190 by the end of April.
· General health is good. Have had an abdominal muscle pull the last couple of weeks so I've had to take it easy and not stretch as much as I like, but I'm getting better.
Good start! I hope to keep improving gradually indoors and then get outside by the end of April. I'll keep you posted.
