Hey Capy --

i can see why one would want thinner tires as the mtn bike tires do not roll very easily on the trails. it is kind of like pushing a cement truck for xx miles but the payoff is having the killer thighs of steel :)
but a benefit for having a slower bike is that when you crash it should not hurt as much as a faster road bike AND you could see everything in slow motion.
